Recently read Drink, Slay, Love by Sarah Beth Durst.  A funny, quirky, and at times dark book.  After finishing I went on to read her other two Teen titles; Ice and Enchanting Ivy.  The first is set in the Arctic and the second  at Princeton University.  If you are in the mood for a book that blends humor, fantasy and the challenges of navigating family relationships, pick up any of the three titles.  You won't be disappointed!

Recommended Reads for Holiday Break

If you miss the Twilight series try one of the Drake Chronicle books by Alyxandra Harvey.  The first book is Hearts at Stake.  If you like ghost stories with a twist Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake is the book for you.  I also enjoyed Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini  Taylor.  I am looking forward to reading Legend by Marie Lu

Power of Six

Struggling to read The Power of Six (Lorien Legacies).  I really liked the first book in this series-I am Number Four.  The second book seems to have a slower pace and jumps between characters so often you don't have time to care about the individual stories.  Have you read it?  What do you think?
